Evan Rosenberg (they/he)

Evan started their practice over ten years ago while trying to find a way to connect mind, body, and spirit. Struggling with anxiety and depression, yoga became an essential tool for them to find balance and grounding that could be translated off of the mat. Community is a very important aspect of Evan’s yoga experience, so when he found Boston Yoga Union in 2021, Evan decided to take the leap and complete a 200 hour teacher training here under the support of Tim Kelleher, Emily Jonas Tevald, and Caitlyn Graham.

Folks will quickly realize Evan does not take themselves too seriously when it comes to practicing or teaching. They find laughing and having fun on the mat to be an important aspect of connecting more deeply to their practice, allowing a release of the internal perfectionistic pressures created by Western lifestyles. If you are looking for a challenging and fun flow class, then this is the place to start! Yoga, for Evan, isn’t about being drenched in sweat, but finding the mind-body connection and having fun.

Off the mat, you’ll find Evan selling flow cytometers to Biotech companies or sewing silk in their artist studio.
